About Us

Mid-Mo Ambulance District provides Advanced Life Support to citizens in Moniteau and Morgan counties.  Mid-Mo Ambulance District was formed on June 28th 1977 by a vote of the people in both counties.  Mid-Mo Ambulance District serves an area of approximately 965 square miles with an average call volume of 4,900 calls a year.  Mid-Mo Ambulance District was operated with volunteers in the beginning and  in 1995 moved to a paid on duty system.  Mid-Mo Ambulance District operates 11 ambulances with 4 staffed 24 hours a day. Our bases are located in Versailles, Tipton, and California.  Mid-Mo Ambulance operates under strict protocols with a quality assurance program in place to ensure that citizens are receiving the best care possible.
